Our History
HOA Management Services™ was founded in 2008 by Rodney Wright and Brenda Wright.
Rodney’s first encounter with a Homeowner Association was in 2003 when the Developer of his neighborhood was ready to turn the association over to the homeowners. Rodney volunteered for the Board and became the President. Through years of being involved with HOAs, Rodney worked closely with attorneys, contractors, and residents of the community.
His years of experience gave him the knowledge to start HOA Management Services™, effectively train his staff, and manage Homeowner Associations just like yours.
In 2024, Rodney and Brenda Wright made the difficult decision to relocate out of state to be closer to their family and passed the helm on to our current Vice President, Terri Wolfe, CMCA, AMS. Terri has gained so much knowledge and experience since joining HOA Management Services in 2013, and is currently working towards her PCAM certification, the highest accreditation available to our industry from the Community Associations Institute (CAI).

It provides education and resources to professional managers, association management companies, and other businesses and professionals who provide products and services to community associations.
Experience and Education
HOA Management Services™ is proud to have a dedicated management team with almost 50 years combined experience with the company. Each member of our management team has obtained their CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) and AMS (Association Management Specialist) accreditations and routinely lead our staff through training exercises to share this knowledge.
Over the past two decades, we have built a catalogue of trusted vendors and industry professionals in our area, along with best practices to help homeowners associations navigate the ever-changing dynamics of their communities. We remain the industry leader in our market and manage approximately 180 communities in the South Central Kansas region. We have helped associations in all phases of development—from the initial planning to developer control to full board transition.

Our company is an active participant in the Heartland CAI Chapter, which provides additional support, education, and involvement regarding developing local and regional laws and regulations, as well as keeping our office apprised of case law and industry standards related to homeowners associations. We partner with multiple attorneys who specialize in homeowners association case law and can provide guidance for anything from governing document amendments, foreclosures, and homeowner litigation. We utilize a nationally accredited software program that allows us to take homeowners associations into the next generation with web and mobile software access for homeowners and board members.
